Well, I've been poking around a lot lately thinking of ways to pump up my DS... I was really dissapointed when I coudln't justify the extra $100 to buy a PSP but now I'm kind of happy that i couldn't...

I was just rummaging around looking at new games for the NDS (such as the fact that I can get FF1-6 on GBA/NDS cartrages) and found out that they have replacement carts which can allow SD cards...

So further poking around, and I found 2 seperate carts, one is a Slot1 and one is a Rumble Slot2 cart... Both support MiniSD cards for data... Which you can get fairly cheap now adays...

So, my future plans where already to buy a rumble pack for my games, but I figure hell, if i can shove 2gb sandisk cards into my NDS I may as well do it with a rumble pack! lol...

So, future plans:
1. Purchase Supercard Lite Black (microSD) Rumble Version (So I can play my NDS games and have linux/sd card running on my rumble pack)
2. Purchase Supercard DS One (micro SD) (So I can play my GBA games and have linux/sd card running on my nds slot1)
3. Purchase SanDisk 2GB MicroSD Flash Card Model SDSDQ-2048 - OEM (So I can have extended memory, and run linux applications from my NDS and make Walter cream himself from my lazy butt running an os from my ds listening to my mp3's in the car)
4. Install DS Linux on MicroSD card.
5. Run around town with my own homebrew mp3 player and take advantage of the homebrew ds games.

BTW, yes I'm well aware that there are other options, such as the DS-Xtreme (4gb) however theres a reason why I don't want to deal with them as an option for now.

BTW, there are several advantages to this setup; other than just having an OS with applications at your disposal...

1. Homebrew Games and Rom's can be played.
2. Videos can be watched from your card while you're "on the go".
3. MP3's, enough said.
